The “Cars” section of the newspaper does not keep my attention for very long. Why is that? It is packed with car after car drowning in a sea of more cars, car features, and numbers. I really only notice the first couple of cars before my eyes get a little blurry and I quickly turn the page to something less overwhelming. If I, the reader, only see one car before I turn the page, don’t you want to do everything you can to ensure that it is the car you are trying to sell?
While I’m no motor vehicle marketing expert, I can think of one really simple solution. Do something that will catch my eye. Brilliant, I know. You’re welcome, advertisers.
More specifically, what about putting a big bow on the car you are trying to sell? A bow would make the car look more festive, but it would also stop these blurry eyes in their tracks. When my eyes see a big gift, they want to know more! I am much more interested in a car that looks like a beautiful present.
A car bow is a simple, affordable solution to the monotony that is wading through the boring car ads. Let’s spice it up a little. Bows, bows, bows I’m telling you! King Size Bows, to be specific. Trust me. It will make a huge difference. And those of us who care more about pretty things than car specs will thank you kindly.
Now, please go buy some bows. Thanks.
